Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
