Jeffrey Epstein bought a smaller island - Little St James - originally in the late 1990s, but subsequently obtained the larger adjacent island in the year 2016 for around $22.5 million.
This visual evidence suggest he had created plans to transform the substantial island by constructing living quarters, an open-air theater, an office beneath the waves and a swimming pool.
Visible on the plan is Pillsbury Sound, a marine passage in the US Virgin Islands, indicated on the bottom right.
This development map is covered in red pen markings and features a key identifying different parts of the land.
In addition to the main plan are what seem to be nine other property layouts and engineering blueprints, including designs for marina coverings.
